The weather got a little bit nasty, but that didn't dampen the spirit of things too much at Woodlawn this past farmers market. We even had nature spying on us.
This little fellow was watching the goings on (first from the ground and then from this vantage point in a nearby tree) for over a half hour.
Now, we still have spaces for anyone who would like to seel off their excess items (be they crafts or garden produce). Just bring them on down and check in the the markeet master ( that's me). Somebody will be there every Friday, until October 10, from 1 pm on.
Some of the upcoming produce expected at the Woodlawn Nature Center Harvest Market include: peas, green beans, okra, watermelons, flowers (LOTS of flowers), fresh and potted herbs, squash and much, much more. Come on down and join the fun.
